Many many thanks Neil ji for consensus on *Amorphophallus* sp. Not sure of getting to the species level with the present set of photographs. Rathinasabapathy ji may look into the local flora for distribution of various species of *Amorphophallus*. And perhaps put photos of plants from the same site later, when found in flowering.
