Nice anecdotes, Pankaj and Giby. Yes the white flower is definitely Den. aqueum. I did see it in the Pantheerayiram forests in the Calicut-Malappuram border so there is a very good possibility it is there in Silent Valley too. The ones from Maharashtra seem to have the best shape.
