Hi, Definitely this fruit can be purchased from Manali, I had got an opportunity to taste this (and I thought this to be any member of Solanaceae, more inclination being towards Tomato). They sell it and tell the name as Persimon, thus no doubts remain pending if you buy it from there. Thanks Pankaj Ji, for sharing such an incident, becoz sharing these type of things is not "affordable" by many of us.
