I shall be obliged if some expert attends to my querries with values. 1. What is the ratio of 'Oxygen produced from sunlight' to 'Oxygen consumed in respiration at night' by trees? 2. What is a similar ratio for carbon dioxide absorbed/liberated during day and night by trees? 3. What is the % share of trees in replenishment of Oxygen in the atmosphere? 4. Urban trees or supposed to reduce pollution by trapping particulate and oily effluents on leaves. How much does this inhibit the photo-synthesis? 5. Is there a variation in % of Oxygen at different locations? Is the Oxygen % maximum in a location with maximum tree density? A very wide range of figures can be read on these issues which confuses a layman like me.
