My idea is that members should upload their photographs normally, and let
others judge. It gives good feeling. Putting your own photograph in
competition may not be liked by many, as it leads to some thing like
self-nomination. In any case we nominate "My best photograph of the year"
in last month of December or first of January. This monthly nominations are
to encourage quality of routine uploads.
