aaah... Rajanigandha...

a very romantic song by Hemant Kumar... talks of how he just gave a
bunch of tubroses to his girlfriend and said goodbye...

and Uttam Kumar was for always bringing Rajanigandha to Suchitr Sen ,
his heroine in those BW Movies in the 160s...

such memories...

But in the west for many decades the white fragrant  flowers were/are
symbol of mourning used primarily by Funeral homes at memorial
services...

same flower, same scent, same spiritual energy .. yet two different
cultures use them differently...
