*Place*: in premises of St Stephen's Church, Ooty (~ 7428 ft asl), Tamilnadu *Time*: November 17, 2011 at 2.18pm *Habit*: medium-sized bushy shrub *Habitat*: garden planted *Plant*: about 6-7 ft high, many branched from base, perhaps pruned, may grow to become a large shrub *Flower*: quite handsome, about (or over) an inch across ... largest of * Crotalaria* flower seen yet. *Seedpod*: about 2 - 2.5 inches long X 0.75 - 1 inch wide; this too largest of Crotalaria pod seen yet ... may actually serve as a rattletoy.
