Dear Kenneth, in such situations of confusion (and The Plant List has
many), I fall back upon GRIN a very reputed databae, and if latter has been
updated recently (after December 2010 when The Plant List was uploaded), I
go with GRIN. The GRIN Record has been updated on 17 May, 2011 and
considers Lysiphyllum hookeri as accepted name:

*Bauhinia hookeri* F. Muell. (=*Lysiphyllum hookeri (F. Muell.)
