Delonix elata for sure. Vaadha narayana or vatanarayana in Tamil. The tree has medicinal importance. The leaves possess heat nature and have a bitter taste. They are used in the preparation of spicy kuzhambu and thuvayal (Tamil Nadu preparations). Regular intake of .these preparations helps to control joint pain, arthritis, and other nervous and bone related complaints associated with swellings.
