I am bumping this thread again. I wonder if any of this group live near Darjeeling????
Maybe some kind soul be willing to collect a live specimen fromTiger Hill, and take it to the Herbarium at the Lloyd Botanic Garden. Hopefully the local botanists there would be able to give an accurate id of a very very common shrub in their local area. OR maybe someone has contacts at Llloyds Botanic garden and the botanists could then be pointed to my thread. or even make a personal inspection of a living shrub. I tried to get an e mail address. But none shows on www, so maybe they do not have an internet connection there. Hopefully.... Sheila. ============================================= On Oct 30, 5:22 pm, Vijayasankar <vijay.botan...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi Sheila, I think Giby wanted to only compare the stigmas in "*Lasianthus*" > and in the plant in discussion. > > Flora of China says stigma lobes 3-9.
