These two have always been confusing me and I could not find any specific
differences except these two

Calyptocarpus vialis
 Synedrella nodiflora

Prostrate perennial, rooting at nodes
  Erect annual

Leaves shorter than 5
cm                                                      Leaves 5-12 cm long


All other characters seem to be overlapping
