Thanks a lot for the comments Mani sir, here and on other posts too. If you read my first mail int his series, it tells about what species occur in India in wild. All thosespecies are protected under the Wildlife Protection Act of India, Schedule 6. That means, strict ban on extraction from wild and a person doing so can be jailed. Unfortunately the act applies only to the Paphiopedilums and not to Cypripediums although at first the text in the Act had the word LADY SLIPPER ORCHIDS, which includes all.
