Apologies for not putting a message to the group that I would be going on vacation during 26 DEC - 1 JAN. Would like to respond to the best of the months' winners of December 2011: Hearty congratulations to Balkar ji for winning the "Best Set of Photographs". Many thanks Balkar ji for always posting a large set of photographs of any plant that you sight. It helps us to "see" the plant. Congratulations to Prabhu Kumar ji and Prasad ji for being winners of the "Best Photograph" Many thanks for showing your plants beautifully. Congratulations to Usha di for being the eFI woman among moderators - am sure she will continue to be among top posters. And congratulations to Rathinasabapathy ji for being the eFI man among members. His posting performance is echoing clearly in this month's Mimosaceae week. It was a pleasant surprise to find two new categories of winners: "Best Photographer of the year" and "Hero of Family Week for the year". Dear Pankaj always ensures that beauty of his orchids is never compromised when showing them. Hearty congratulations to him. It is very good to find myself among the winners. Many thanks to Garg ji and Gurcharan ji for intoxicating me with their kind words !! Earnestly hoping that that the months of 2012 find new winners in the above categories; it is much needed that the earlier winners always find their passion challenged !! Our group thus would always remain the winner. I liked Gurcharan ji's 2012 resolution for the group. Especially the 4th point: "Nominate a minimum of five uploads in each category (Best photograph/Best set of Photographs) to show our appreciation ...
