Not oregano, Aarti ji. Though not familiar with oregano plants, looked up
for other names of oregano, to check for patchouli.
The plants of oregano look different from the posted one, to me.

Patchouli - the true patchouli is *Pogostemon cablin* (and its varieties),
native of Phillippines, Malaysia and cultivated elsewhere.
There is false patchouli (inferior to true in terms of the properties of
oil) - also known as Java patchouli OR Indian patchouli - Pogostemon
heyneanus, native to India, Sri Lanka and s-e Asia; cultivated elsewhere.

If the guide's information is incorrect, yet this plant is most likely some
species of *Pogostemon*.
