With reference to the August posts of Shrikant Ingalhalikar and Dr. Pankaj Kumar, there still seems to be some doubt over the simple herb Eulophia nuda.
It is called amarkand or goruma in hindi, mankand in marathi, budhuvar in bengali. The root grows in the konkan area and himalaya valley. I would appreciate any knowledge of its availability. thanks. sanjeev
