Common name: Sweet Sultan
Garden ornamental herb with pinnatipartite leaves, lower petiolate,
uppermost sessile with serrulate margin; heads terminal on long peduncles;
involucre bracts broadly ovate with scarious margin, inner narrower;
corolla white or purple, outer much longer than inner, 10-20 cleft;
achenes villous.
Often cultivated in gardens, photographed from Delhi University Garden on
