Dear Bhagyashriji, Nice to see the Magpie Robin inside your house. It is definitely the Magpie Robin which is a close relative of the Indian Robin. The Indian Robin male is bluish black or greyish with reddish vent whereas the female is brownish with red vent and is the drier area counterpart of the Magpie Robin. Regards Dr Badri Narayanan
