I was doing a google search just a while ago and received the following images of similar looking pods - 1) http://two-ton.blogspot.in/2009/03/wild-taro-seed-pod.html 2) http://natureproducts.net/Forest_Products/Aroids/colocasia.html 3) http://www.flickr.com/photos/rnranimals/47279467/ Could it be in anyway a *Colocasia* or *Alocasia* species as have been suggested by Tanay Sir?
