Gurcharan ji, Pictures inserted from computer drive *are automatically stored in Web Albums at Picasa OR Google+*. A systematic approach would be creating photo albums at Picasa OR Google+ (both are same) - and upload photos in this albums.
In such case, inserting pictures in Google Groups' post would be from "Your photos". Choose each photo appropriately, ensuring to change the default "Medium" to some larger size. Regards.
