Common Names: Hill Glory flower Hindi: Bhant Sans: Barhichuda, bhantaka Mar: Bhandira Tam: Karukanni The plant has been named as C. viscosum Vent., in recent years, a name which is illegitimate being a Nomen superfluum. A densely hairy shrub with opposite thick ovate leaves and sweet scented white flowers with pink centre arranged in branched clusters; stamens much exserted; calyx enlarged and turning red and surrounding black fruit.
