Dear Pankaj sir and Ushadi ji, We were looking at the pollination ecology and the interaction of *Dendrophthoe falcata *with their host trees that grows in the canopy of KMTR, Tamil Nadu. We located a very different form of *D. falcata* (I will upload pictures of this little later) that grows only in the canopy of large trees in KMTR and quite interestingly, we foud that they grow only on two species of host trees (*Palaquim ellipticum* and *Ormosia travancorica*) that grows more than 15m height. We wanted to check whether they do any harm to the host tree since they are host specific in that habitat and co-exist or not. We didn't look at the medicinal property of the same. But I know that people in Kerala and Tamil Nadu are using some species of the mistletoes as medicinal plant.
