Thank you Neil Sir for the ID. A wiki search tells me that these spittle bugs <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Froghopper> are related to cicada<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cicada>at infra order level <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cicadomorpha> !
