Dear all    i checked with wikipedia [ following Rajan Hatsikar's
advice on indianaturewatch]. I think this is Oncoba spinosa - Fried
Egg Tree,Snuff Box Tree. Wiki mentions family as Salicacea;
flowersofindia - Flacourtiaceae.More inputs welcome..
