Thanks Adittya.* Lumnitzera racemosa* indeed. A fairly common mangrove species. Surprisingly when I entered the genus name in the search window no results appeared. Is it true that this is getting discussed for the first time? I remember observing this earlier but didn't have proper images to post on the group.
