fascicles Fruits smaller (compare to H. alpinia) ..... *H.
pentandra*(grows below 700m altitude).

Leaves entire and Flowers in long peduncles Fruits larger (sometimes double
the size of H. pentandra).... *H. alpinia* (Grows mostly above 700m
altitude, recently I have located few individuals in Thattakkad bird
sanctuary Kerala at about 150m altitude)
