Ajinkya Ji,

Very little could be found on flowers of *Maranta* sps. According to a
'pdf' file <http://flora.huh.harvard.edu/china/PDF/PDF24/maranta.pdf>,
available from -
http://efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=600&taxon_id=119663, there are
about 32 species in this genus. But almost all flowers picture are
available for *Maranta arundinacea*. However, two close match -
