Hi, Neil ji,
It's very easy to find a particular thread by opening home page at
https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en&fromgroups#!forum/indiantreepix (keep it
in your Favourites & you needn't have to 'sign in' to it) & searching on
Gulmohar Tree + Neil. Once thread is open, copy & paste the address.

Hi,
Have explained this in the past but am not able to reproduce the link here
since I am using a Yahoo account. Please refer to my post titled  'Re:
[efloraofindia:68437] Gulmohar Tree'
dated 30th April 2011 for our previous discussion on this.

Hello dear Mr.Garg
You can recollect me from the below mail chain. I have been anxiously waiting
for my tree to blossom yellow this May. Last May it was small. But so far it
din't. Will you be able to throw some light please? Is May not the month for
yellow blossom in Hyderabad unlike Delhi ?
Sorry if I am bothering you. Attaching two latest pics of my tree.
Thanks in advance
Regards
Seshasai.

Hi, Seshasai ji,
It's Cassia fistula only.
2009/9/21 Seshasai K

Dear Mr. Garg.. Thanks a ton for an instant reply. I am very fond of this tree,
and tried to find it in Hyderabad - but couldnt. anyway I got it from Delhi. As
regard to me joining the group - my work doesn't allow me to spend time in
this. Sorry to disappoint you on this. I am into too many service oriented
things apart from job. But, will keep in touch with people like you.

Am attaching two pictures of the sapling. If you can glance the same and let me
know whether my pick is right or wrong.. will be very thankful to you.

Regards
Seshasai

Thanks, Seshasai.
Yeah, I stay in Hyderabad right now, but will move shortly to Kolkata on
transfer. Amaltas (Cassia Fistula) is very common in Hyderabad & should be
available in most of the nurseries in Hyderabad.
You send picture of your plant to me. Let me see if is possible to identify it
in sapling form.

Dear Mr. Garg,
I am Seshasai. I live in Hyderabad.  I saw a picture of Amaltas (Cassia
Fistula) taken by you in the category of "Trees in Hyderabad". I already bought
one from Delhi - but not sure if it is the same Amaltas or not - coz it is too
small to flower yellow.
Do you live in Hyderabad?  Can we talk?  Wanted to doubly be sure about the
sapling which I bought. By any chance, are you aware of any nursery which sells
the saplings of this tree in Hyderabad?
Awaiting your reply..
Regards
Seshasai
