Sorry Usha Di, was away elsewhere... the truth is - i thought pink buds belong to some other species, but the post by Garg Sir ( https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#%21searchin/indiantreepix/Glinus$20oppositifolius/indiantreepix/EZ_LwC0VRzI/0xkAL4Dv7RkJ) confirmed that they were from same plant.
