Dalia Di,

Thank you very much for your kind feedback.

Regarding Bengali names of plants, i know only a few species which are
popularly known as 'useful plants'. Even then i have often noticed that
Bengali names vary regionally, not only for plants but also for various
animals like birds, annelids etc.

I certainly will provide Bengali names of plants in my future posts if i
know the names or if any particular name is available in reference books
(though presently i have only one book, wish to collect a few more within
few days). Internet is not always a reliable source for Bengali names.

I and my peers do not know the Bengali name of this wild species, *Rorippa
indica*, which is apparently a weed. However, the Bengali name given to
this plant is -

   - BILRAI = "Plant Groups" by H. Mukherji, New Central Book Agency Pvt.
   Ltd., 2005
   - supporting the above =

   - BAN SARISHA = a website from Bangladesh =
