Dear Sirs, Today i checked the grass and it was not sticky. I checked three individuals form the same area and even used a very thin piece of paper, the type used for cigarette manufacturing, to test the stickiness of the grass.
So, this grass is likely to be *Eragrostis tenella*. I am grateful to both of you for the ID keys of both *Eragrostis* species.
