Garg Sir,

Thank you for making the post resurface. This is *Cyperus rotundus* as have
been identified by Giby Sir. Its tuber smells like aromatic
resin<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frankincense>which is one of the
character of this Cyperaceae.

Moreover, i met Dr. DCS Raju today at Shivpur (Howrah) BSI and collected
another of this *Cyperus rotundus* there.
