I read the descriptions from K M Matthew flora on *An excursion Flora of Central Tamilnadu, India *and got confirmed this as *Ophiopogon intermedius*D. Don. Thanks Manudevji; but there are three varieties reported from Tamil Nadu i.e var. *intermedius*, var.*gracilipes*, var.*pauciflorus. *I don't have good pictures now to classify unto variety level. If key is available, I could check it in the field.
