Sir, As i said before in one of my earlier posts that I met Dr. D. C. S. Raju on the last Tuesday, Raju Sir gifted me copies of his book, "Excursion Flora of Simhachalam Hill". This books offers an account of *Cayratia pedata* (Vahl.) Gagnep. Hc. I copy the following words from the book -
"Syn. *Vitis pedata* Vahl. A tomentose vine; Leaves 7-foliate, Flowers 4-merous, white, June-August...." A herbarium of the same plant is available at - http://www.rprcbbsr.com/herbarium/herbarium/images/id/115 Description is also available - http://www.rprcbbsr.com/herbarium/species?id=115 Another group post - https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!searchin/indiantreepix/cayratia$20pedata/indiantreepix/KTfEyCb-X3c/9KCZ4udfb0QJ I think this plant is likely to be *Cayratia **pedata* (Vahl.) Gagnep. Hc.
