Actually I had also identified it as the same as your id.
But after Neil ji gave its id as A. konjac,I wasn't sure since my knowledge
in this field is very limited.

I was told this is the edible one, locally known as Suran.
There is one more species that is Purple from inside, would you know the
name for it?
