Subject: A dilemma: VOF Week or Brassicaceae Week from August 20
To: efloraofindia <[email protected]>

Although we have planned Brassicaceae Week from 20 August and thinking
about VOF Week in September, I was wondering if members just back from VOF
trip would like to wait up to September to upload their photographs, or go
for it right from this Monday (in that case we can shift Brassicaceae Week
to September). Having fresh uploads of VOF plants (and many from old
records of Pankaj ji, Garg ji and many others) within a week would ensure
that majority of plants would get identified in a short span of time. I
think people just back from VOF in this month, Rajesh ji's team, Dinesh
ji's team, Prashant ji's team would be in a better position to take a final
call. We will decide based on what majority thinks appropriate. Please
respond latest by noon time on Sunday (IST). On one hand there is question
of waiting for nearly a fortnight or more before uploading, while on the
other hand question of processing the photographs for upload immediately.
