Arundhati:  your question was about the leaf crown I take it and its
arrangement of the leaves?   you wanted to know the terms describing it?

the leaves along the stem grow in a* spiral* arrangement as you look at it
from the side, along the up and down length of the stem.. and looking at
the crown from top down the arrangement is called* whor*l ... reminds me of
a closely arranged/spaced spokes of an umbrella... though botanist do not
call it thus...
