You are right. This is* E.alsinoides* a prostrate herb of 10- 15 cm total
length. The other climber you are talking about is an ornamental
climber *Jacquemontia
*earlier discussed during the Convolvulaceae week. If the size of the
flower is not mentioned one is often fooled by the ID
