Sir, This grass looks like *Setaria verticillata* (L.) P. Beauv as have been mentioned by you and it should have retrose barbs on the bristles. I have learned the feature from Manoj Sir in my post at - https://groups.google.com/d/topic/indiantreepix/vjuZ3lxp5z4/discussion.
