Pavetta crassicaulis Bremek. (1934) can't be the correct name for Pavetta indica L. (1753) for simple taxonomic reasons of priority.
Perhaps reference to original publication of Bremek. (Repert. Spec. Nov. Regni Veg. 37: 112 1934.) can help, since P. crassicaulis was described from South India.
