Dear Members
Special fortnight episode on Kas was another great achievement of the
Group immediately following the VOF episode. Kas episode has special
importance because in addition to our regular contributors we also saw some
other members contributing in a big way, an encouraging trend that should
motivate other members.
The episode saw more than 390 uploads of rare and interesting plants,
mostly endemic to Western Ghats, backed up by nearly 1200 responses from
members (including their own). Although most plants were new for me and
some of the other members, but we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful uploads.
Thanks to Shrikant ji for agreeing to coordinate this episode, providing
important information, useful feedbacks and uploading some of the very rare
plants from the area and giving very useful information based on his
personal experience of the area.
Thanks to all contributing members, and congratulations for
another success story.
