Thank you Gurcharan sir for the detail response to my question. I always make 
it a point to read your emails and learn a lot. If I understand correctly, the 
plant in my post is Leea indica, plz correct me if I am wrong. I am ataching a 
full size image of the leaves in case it helps for better viewing.
