Thanks to All for very elaborate discussion on flowers. I apologize for a miss, Satish Sir's post of *Limnophila indica* does mention flower size as "less than a cm"<https://groups.google.com/d/topic/indiantreepix/uFvfVjcR4-k/discussion> .
However, i have vague idea on flower size, not this species, any species when size of a flower is mentioned. When we say 1) flowers are 1 to 2 cm Is it the diameter of a fully open flower? Even then, if it is a regular odd numbered petaled flower and the petals are not overlapping type it is very likely that if you place one end of your scale on the tip of a petal the opposite end passes through the blank space between 3rd and 4th petal. So, i assume i will have to draw a circle equal to the circumference of that particular flower and then decide its diameter. 2) corolla 1-2 cm I assume it is the length of a corolla tube upto the tip of any member petal. If i am wrong in the above understanding please let me know.
