Sir,

This plant, even the family is new to me. But i very much want to find a
similar looking herb, very nice looking, a white ball on a stick!

This one looks similar -
http://www.digitalnaturalhistory.com/flora_eriocaulaceae_index.htm to me
and wiki claims it is reported from the southern part of India and Western
Ghats <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eriocaulaceae>.

But google search gives many similar looking plants of various species of
the same genus.
