Yes. this is Pongamia pinnata. Very nice shade providing tree, fixes
nitrogen and supposed to protect against soil erosion due its lateral root
system. I see lot of weird growth on their leaves. Can anyone share what
these might be and what causes this? Does not seem to bother the trees
though, as they seem to be healthy. This is one of the popular road-side
planting trees in Bangalore.
