'Crotalaria* *pallida* var. *obovata* is also an accepted name [ theplantlist.org]. I will be delighted if it does turn out to be var obovata as it will add a new sub-species to Maharashtra (Flora Maharashtra - Almeida does not mention it; do not have Flora Maharashtra - BSI, can somebody please check and inform the group). Vijaysankar, please let us how you dd the two (pallida and pallida var obovata) and do give your reference, if available.
