Dear Rajesh ji, Thank you very much for this forward. I have been wanting to learn more on this subject ever since I was gifted a print of the Deodar by Ravenscroft. I became more curious after Urvashi ji posted the wonderful banyan painting and also mentioned about plenty of paintings of Bombay's Victoria Gardens etc.
Unfortunately, I am not in Delhi but my cousin who is a keen gardener will attend it and send me the news.
