Thank you for the ID suggestion, but i am very much confused, for i have
another post, with a different looking plant that has been identified as *Sida
retusa* -

There is one by Dinesh Ji which is also identified as *Sida
retusa*<https://groups.google.com/d/topic/indiantreepix/cWZmjt6gng0/discussion>
but
looks different than the species in this thread.
