Dear all, There appears to be some confusion regarding its range & synonymy. Biotik show *Sarcococca* *trinervia* Wight as syn. of *Sarcococca saligna*(D.Don) Muell.-Arg. with distribution as Indomalaysia; in the Western_Ghats-<http://www.biotik.org/india/defs/474_en.html>South (Anaimalai) and Central (Palakkad hills to Coorg Region) Sahyadris as per link: http://www.biotik.org/india/species/s/sarcsali/sarcsali_en.html GRIN does not mention *Sarcococca* *trinervia* Wight. while showing * Sarcococca* *saligna* (D. Don) Müll. Arg. as accepted name with* no distribution in South India *as per link: http://www.ars-grin.gov/cgi-bin/npgs/html/taxon.pl?33132 as does FloraofPakistan as per link: http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=5&taxon_id=200012668
The Plant List further confuses the matter by showing *Sarcococca* * trinervia* Wight as a syn. of *Sarcococca* *pruniformis* Lindl.<http://www.theplantlist.org/tpl/record/kew-2869348>as per link http://www.theplantlist.org/tpl/record/kew-2869352, which is contradictory to Biotik, GRIN & FOP. Everybody's assistance is required to solve this mystery.
