I have been taking care of 5 Bauhinia x blakeana trees and watching them through all the seasons for the last 20 years. They normally don't produce any pods. Once only in all that time about 5 years ago I did see one of the trees with 2 or 3 seed pods. Sometimes nature surprises us all.
