The philosophy behind Tamil alphabet is drastically different from Grantham nor
Devanagari.
Tamil alphabet represents Places of Articulation. Then defines the mechanics
behind creating sounds/phonemes.
Grantham (alphabet) represents sounds/phonemes, (which is highly restricted in
scalability), but emphasises on some funky phonemes.
Devanagari (alphabet) also represents sounds/phonemes.
The aim of Indian government is to eventually eliminate the only scientific
writing system from the world, stems from political and racial reasons. Tamil
is the only surviving Indic writing system. The world, the technocrats,
scientists, the Unicode Consortium, the minority rights groups and other world
organisations should come to the help to save Tamil alphabet from destruction,
deliberate misinterpretation.
Unicode consortium should make an effort to understand Tamil alphabet system
before making drastic changes to it. They should understand that these are not
technical attempts but racial attempts to destroy Tamil writing system.
